Those things we left undone
A work for a lifetime
That never sees the sun
How many have done this
Where time ran out the clock
Or maybe it’s priorities
That they did not take in stock
Most of us have a masterpiece
That waits for us to build
Sometimes it’s simply
A void that must be filled
Perhaps you hear the melody
But never write the words
For your art to be appreciated
It first has to be heard
About the Poem Unfinished Symphonies
The poem Unfinished Symphonies is about those pieces of genius that reside in all of us. It may be art, music, writing, or something of your own design. Sadly many of these never materialize because we don’t think we are good enough, or the the work is good enough. Sometimes the line between the two is blurred. What are you waiting for? Create your art and share it with the world. The greatest tragedy of art is that which is never shared.
Inspirational Poetry Books
Here are some of the books that are available from Robert Longley. I would recommend the Sacred Poem journals. Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
