It’s always been there waiting
A place of the unknown
That calls to those who listen
With a light that few are shown
Most will fear to go there
Until a path is cleared
It is this lack of knowing
That all before have feared
Will you accept the challenge
In whatever form it takes
It really is opportunity
That we ourselves do make
Will you be the first to go there
Will you show others the way
It might be uncharted territory
But it will be known by all one day
About the Poem Uncharted Territory
The poem Uncharted Territory is about the many unknowns that await us in life. 500 years ago it was anything outside of Europe. But even this was a perception. There were millions of people living in the Americas at that time and they knew exactly where they were. If we think in terms of geography, the options that qualify as uncharted are dwindling. But the 70% of the earth that is under water is still mostly fair game, and then there are the planets and the stars.
But sometimes uncharted territory has nothing to do with the physical world, it’s just being first at something that others think can’t or shouldn’t be done. Proving the world isn’t flat for instance. It could be something as simple as running a 4 minute mile. Or as controversial as women voting or not giving up their seat on a bus. What uncharted territory are you going to explore?

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
