A little bit of music
I wish I could have played
Anxious to have met you
And wishing I had stayed

A dream not yet to be
The soft refrain is ended
A note fades into space
Joining with the silence
And returning back to grace

About The Poem – The Soft Refrain
The Soft Refrain is about dealing with loss during pregnancy. Many women have gone through the process of a pregnancy that did not reach its desired outcome. Most people only share the pain of these experiences privately. Some people don’t have that luxury because of who they are. I was reminded recently of this with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, and their struggle with their latest pregnancy. They were very public about the challenges that they were having. Ultimately, they also shared in the loss as well. I’m sure that as hard as this is to deal with privately, that doing publicly can be even harder. The upside of being this public is that I’m sure there is an outpouring of support as well. If this poem happens to find its way to them, I hope it helps them recover from their grief.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
