Let the torrents rage

A challenge to be won
A dragon for the slaying
So as to meet the morning sun
Tomorrow brings another
And more each passing day
It’s about how we get through it

About the Poem Resilience
Resilience is about getting through the challenges in our life. Almost the whole world is currently having their resilience tested with the current Covid 19 situation. Everything we know about life and how we work is being challenged. We are locked in our houses, many people are losing their jobs, and then there is the toilet paper situation. In the course of human history, a global crisis is actually not a new thing.
We have gotten used to a pretty stable existence. Most of us haven’t experienced war on a large scale in more than a generation. And there are few people alive today that were around the last time the world had a pandemic. We are out of practice. Most people’s level of resilience is limited to suffering through decaf when the good stuff is gone. Now we are cut off from loved ones, we are losing jobs, and there are daily reminders of our mortality.
Aside from where we are technologically, this scenario has played itself out many times over the course of human history. We need to rediscover the old skills of coping with adversity, getting knocked down and getting back up again. Our current state of existence is in part because our ancestors survived similar challenges. We are all in this together and we will get through this.
Inspirational Poetry Books

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
