It may be filled with optimism
For some it’s filled with fear
Full of possibilities
Of the future drawing near
Change is unavoidable
We expect it with each page
But we want to have control
When we must take the stage
The thrill of the excitement
And balance of control
Creates a dance of magic
Whose virtues we extol
The pages turn so quickly
As the story does unfold
Changing our perceptions
With new things we are told
About the Poem Page One
The poem Page One is about the stories we write in our lives. We don’t always write them on paper but the stories are just as real. We are always writing our stories, but sometimes the story ends, and a new story needs to be written. If we have gotten too used to the old story, it can be difficult to start a new chapter or story. A blank page can be exciting or intimidating. Some things we control and there are things we wish we could control. Over time the story grows and comes together. If we are lucky we learn and change our perceptions of the world.
Poetry Books
Here are some of the books that are available from Robert Longley. I would recommend the Sacred Poem journals. Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
