So much can divide us
And tear us all apart
Making us feel empty
And with a broken heart
Why is so easy
To take a side in rage
Wouldn’t it be better
If we were on the same page
Step back for a moment
And remember we are one
We don’t compete for air to breath
Or gifts from the sun
We should be indivisible
If culture must survive
We have to work together
So all may stay alive
About The Poem Indivisible
Indivisible is an inspirational poem about how easily we are divided and the damage it does to all of us. You don’t have to look very hard in our world today to see division. Whether it is black vs white, or republican vs democrat, there is a variety of flavors to choose from. It used to be that the sides we took were largely limited to sports teams. Now it seems like almost everything is a point of division.
The closer you get to a particular subject the easier it seems for people to align themselves with a particular side. It’s not until you take a step back that the differences are less obvious. We all breath the same air. We all are equally affected by the sun. Viewed from space it reminds us of how small the earth really is. Why do we waste time and energy fighting amongst ourselves? The real risks that face us affect all of us. We can’t harm one group without ultimately hurting ourselves. This is a lesson that humans still haven’t learned after thousands of years. We need to do better and find ways to be indivisible.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
