About The Poem Forever Fenway
Forever Fenway is an inspirational poem about the impact that places like Fenway Park actually have on us. I’m probably the least sports aware person on the planet. Keeping track of players or who’s ahead of whom is not in my DNA. It’s sort of ironic because my grandmother was a huge Red Sox fan.
My grandmother would watch every game and keep score. For each game, she would mark up lined sheets of paper before each game so she could keep score. She did make it a couple games during her lifetime and actually caught a ball. These are the stories that make up the history of Fenway Park. It’s not just about the games that have been played there. I actually wrote a historical science fiction book called The Test that partially takes place at Fenway Park.
It’s Not About the Game at Fenway
I can’t tell you the scores of any of the games I’ve been to at Fenway Park, but I can tell you who I was there with. If you have ever wondered, people in the sky boxes still do the wave when it comes around. I’ve only done that once at Fenway. It is a different experience when everything is catered and you have comfortable seats and air conditioning.
Most of the time, the seats are less than comfortable and you are sandwiched next to someone larger and less sober than you are. There are so many different experiences you can have in one place. It may be the celebrity you walked into the stadium with, or the look of a youngster getting a ball from the bullpen. Maybe it’s just the sunset over home plate part way through a night game. It’s not about the game, it’s about the memories.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
