Few things are as fleeting
As footprints in the sand
Sometimes we walk alone
And sometimes hand in hand
Both paths tell a story
That waves may wash away
As long as we have the memory
They live with us each day
Come to the beach and remember
Make some footprints of your own
And think of days now absent
And the memories we’ve known
The water can be healing
It always was for me
Just take time to remember
And I think that you will see
About The Poem Footprints
Footprints on the beach aren’t just metaphors, they are memories. We may not remember the footprints themselves but we remember making them. Somewhere in there is probably a sunrise or sunset and probably someone we love to share it with. Sometimes it’s just us. Disconnecting or reconnecting as the case may be. Beaches are rarely lonely places even when you are by yourself. There always seems to be a connection there. It may be with your past, or possibly even your future. For many it just may be connecting with your present and appreciating this current time and place.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
