How long before you see it
What will you do to make it stop
How many more will pay the price
Before the other shoe will drop
We aren’t simply complicit
It’s power that we lack
We may have let others have it
But we need to get it back
The concept may be simple
But the pain can still be real
We need not show the bruises
To act on what we feel
The time is now for ending
The cycle of abuse
We have to say this is enough
And there can be no excuse
About the Poem Enough
The poem Enough is about abuse in all it’s forms. 1 in 4 women will experience some form of sexual abuse by the time they are 18. 1 in 6 boys will also experience it. The numbers are similar for the four years of college. And that doesn’t even start to address domestic abuse. Every minute 20 people are physically abused by an intimate partner somewhere in the United States. We don’t talk about it, and unless you’ve experienced it, we generally don’t do anything about it. If you have been abused, know that you are not alone. Talk to someone. Abuse exists in a vacuum. The more people who know what’s going on, the less likely it is to continue.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
