The forest provides solace
And comfort from the storm
Cooling springs for drinking
And wood to keep you warm
From times when you were little
That seem like yesterday
The forest was a symbol
Of how the world might stay
Subtly always changing
But still somehow the same
Constant and ever present
And calling you by name
It’s there when it is needed
The memories won’t fade
With sunlight through the branches
That offer cooling shade
About the Poem Comfort
The poem Comfort is about memories of the forest and all it has to offer. It’s a timeless place. The memories you had there, are probably still there today. The trees might be a little different, but there’s still a sameness that remains. Take time to enjoy the silence as well as all the sounds. It’s all about paying attention.

The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
