Staring at the darkness
A star lights up the sky
Wishing I was 5 again
Hoping Santa might fly by
Here out in the desert
I’m brought back to the source
A manger in the distance
That set us on this course
I think of those who stood here
That night so long ago
Following a star like this
With gifts they had to show
This moment does connect us

About the Poem A Glimpse of Christmas
A Glimpse of Christmas is an inspirational poem about the men and women in the military in the middle east that won’t be home for the holidays. I managed to do pretty well in the holiday area when I was in the military. There were only a couple times that I missed a major holiday. For some families it is an every year occurrence. Many soldiers only get a glimpse of Christmas. Remember them and their families this holiday season.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
