It tends to make us gloomy
Setting fast the mood
Looking for a blanket
And comfort in some food
It almost seems ironic
Because we need these days
Because it makes life better
In oh so many ways
It’s all about renewal
This time when things get dark
But things are set in motion
That soon lead to a spark
The clouds begin to scatter
As the sun returns again
Everything is in motion
For a new cycle to begin
About the Poem Stormy Weather
The poem Stormy Weather is about how we generally don’t like the storms in our lives but we often need them. Just as in nature, we may seek safety for a while and retreat from the world. But eventually, the clouds will part and the sun will come out and life returns. This was not written with Helene and Milton in mind, but timing often brings things together. Everything happens for a reason, even the things we don’t want. They eventually lead to a new cycle of renewal, and hope.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
